PGCBL announces new playoff structure.
UTICA, N.Y.- The Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League has officially announced its new playoff structure, finalizing the road the league's 13 teams will need to travel to claim the PGCBL Championship. In the new format, seven teams will advance to a three-round postseason.

Wednesday, August 1st:
Albany (3) at Amsterdam (2) - 6:45 pm
Watertown (5) at Mohawk Valley (4) - 6:45 pm
Elmira (7) at Geneva (6) - 7:05 pm
Jamestown (1)- Quarter-Final bye
PGCBL Semi-Finals (Best of 3 Games)
Thursday, August 2nd- Saturday, August 4th:
The remaining four teams are seeded based on win percentage. #1 seed vs #4 seed and #2 seed vs #3 seed. The better seed will host games one and three (if necessary) of the series.
PGCBL Championship (Best of 3 Games)
Monday, August 6th- Wednesday, August 8th
The highest remaining seed will host games one and three (if necessary) of the series.
Should tiebreakers be needed, head-to-head record and divisional record will be examined, followed by a coin flip.
