(ALBANY)-- Albany Dutchmen continued the domination of Glens Falls, with a 6-2 victory on Friday night, to move the season series to 6-0.
Albany took advantage of the four Glens Falls errors as the Dutchmen were able to plate four unearned runs on the evening.
JT Larson (North Florida) got the start for Albany and worked five innings of two run ball. Danny Kelleher (Hofstra) was brilliant out of the Dutchmen bullpen, with four shutout innings that featured seven strikeouts and just one hit.
Albany was wreaking havoc on the basepaths again tonight, as the team’s five stolen bases brings the season total to 97, and in the league lead by 31 bags. David Silva Jr. (Ohio Dominican) added three bags to his season total of 23, which leads all individuals in the PGCBL.
The Dutchmen advance to 13-6, and sit three games behind Amsterdam in the East Division. Albany heads to Saugerties tomorrow night to take on the Stallions for a 7:05 first pitch, and return home Monday at 6:35 to take on the Amsterdam Mohawks.
