Armstrong at bat versus Indiana in the College World Series in Omaha, NE
Albany Dutchmen outfielder Derrick Armstrong (Mississippi State) will appear in the first game of the NCAA College World Series Final tonight with Mississippi State University.
The first game of a best of three series between Mississippi State and UCLA can be seen at 8PM ET on ESPN. Game two will be Tuesday night at 8PM, with game three, if necessary, at 8PM on Wednesday.
Armstrong has accumulated a .270 batting average in 37 games this season for the Bulldogs, who have lost just one game in the NCAA Tournament. This will be the first matchup between the two teams this season, and Mississippi State is looking to capture their first baseball national title in school history.
Armstrong will join the Dutchmen as soon as possible following the conclusion of Mississippi State's season.
