The Albany Dutchmen's game with the Newark Pilots has been rained out due to the heavy rain and hail in the Albany area.
The Dutchmen will battle the Adirondack Trail Blazers in a doubleheader on Thursday, and will return home for a modified doubleheader with the Amsterdam Mohawks. The teams will finish the suspended game from Monday, and then play a full nine-inning game. It is Phillips Hardware Night at Bellizzi Field, and over $500 worth of prizes will be available to be won. Miracle Gro Groables Seed Pods will be given away to all fans, and Albany Mayor Kathy Sheehan will throw out the first pitch. The suspended game will begin at 5:05, with the nine-inning game scheduled to start at 7:05.
