ALBANY, NY—Tuesday’s PGCBL contest at Cantine Field between the Albany Dutchmen (8-8) and Saugerties Stallions (7-11) was postponed due to inclement weather. The game has been rescheduled for Tuesday, June 30th and part of a double-header. Game 1 will begin at 5:00, and both games will be 7 inning contests.
The Dutchmen will return to action Wednesday, for a double header with the Glens Falls Dragons (7-10) at Bellizzi Field. The first game, beginning at 5:05pm, will continue a suspended contest from Friday, June 12th, which was halted in the bottom of the 1st with lightning in the area.
Due to the restart of a suspended game, both contests Wednesday will be at least 9 innings in length, instead of the normal 7 innings contests for double headers.
The two games will reignite the Subway Summer Series, which is currently tied 1-1. Wednesday will be Bacon Night at the ballpark, and Web Wednesday promotions will occur throughout the evening.
