On behalf of the Albany Dutchmen organization, we'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved with making 2017 such an enjoyable and successful season: the players, the coaches, the interns, our trainer, the player's families, our host families...especially our host family coordinators, our sponsors, our National Anthem performers, our baseball buddies, "Chef" and volunteer concession staff, our mascot, and everyone affiliated with Siena College.
Our team performed brilliantly on the field, registering the most wins of any Dutchmen team to date. They also participated in an impressive number of community service events/activities, for which we are very proud of them. Our intern staff also performed brilliantly, exceptionally managing all aspects of our game-day operation.
The Siena Athletic Department was a pleasure to deal with and we'd especially like to extend a special "Thank You" to Saints' Assistant Volunteer Coach Dave Yamane and other staff for helping us out preparing the field all season.
Whether you were able to attend a Dutchmen game at our new home at Siena College Ballpark this season or just listened to our audio broadcast or watched our video broadcast, we hope you enjoyed yourself. We take great pride in the product we present, both on and off the field. We truly believe that in the nine years we've been in existence, we've managed to improve every element of what we do little-by-little, year-after-year. Our hope is to continue our new relationship with Siena College and to be able to properly introduce our product to the local communities with the hope that they will stop by and check out a game next season. If they do, we feel confident we can win them over and turn them into Dutchmen fans.
We wish the best for everyone and hope that you all enjoy the "off-season." We'll see you in 2018.
Thanks again.
