NEWARK, N.Y.- Today’s doubleheader on the road against the Newark Pilots has been canceled due to field conditions caused by heavy rain early in game one.
The cancellation came after a delay of over three hours.
The games will not be rescheduled, and all statistics accumulated in the first inning of the scheduled game one will be nulled.
The Dutchmen will have a two-day break as the PGCBL will celebrate their All-Star Game festivities on Wednesday in Elmira. The Dutchmen will return to action on Thursday at home against the Saugerties Stallions for All Holidays Night at 5:05 pm.
