Zach Remillard (Coastal Carolina): 2012 & 2013 Dutchmen Zach Remillard had a career best day on Sunday, recording four hits in an 8-2 win over Charleston Southern. He also scored two runs, drove in three runs, and picked up his 10th double of the season in a 4/5 outing at the plate. Remillard has started all 28 games for the Chanticleers and is hitting .287 for the season.
Michael Jurgella (St. Cloud State): 2012 Dutchmen catcher Michael Jurgella has started all 21 games for the 16-5 Huskies. Jurgella is hitting for a whopping .391 average and has 25 RBI along with four home runs.
Nate Rupiper (Memphis): 2013 Dutchmen Nate Rupiper ended the week by maintaining a nine game hitting streak. The most recent games included a three game series against 15th ranked Houston. On the year, Rupiper is hitting for an eye-popping .375 average, appearing in 18 of the Tigers’ 29 games. He has a team leading .444 on-base percentage.
Andrew Furber (East Stroudsburg): Right handed pitcher and 2013 Dutchmen Andrew Furber picked up his second win of the season on March 27th, moving his record to 2-0. Furber pitched 5.0 innings of a seven inning game, allowing only four hits and one unearned run in an 8-1 win against Philadelphia University.
Morgan Phillips (College of Charleston): In a four game stretch last week, 2012 Dutchmen Morgan Phillips went 5/16 at the plate. He is currently on a six game hitting streak and is hitting .275 on the season, playing in 25 of the Cougar’s 28 games.
