Spencer Hotaling (Susquehanna)- Recently signed pitcher Spencer Hotaling led Susquehanna University to a first-round win in the Landmark Conference Tournament versus Catholic. The right-hander lasted all 9.0 innings, allowing four runs, one earned, with eight strikeouts. Hotaling's accuracy was on full display; of the 126 pitches he threw, 90 were strikes. The victory improved his record to 4-3 on the season and a solid 2.44 ERA. The Crusaders baseball program went on to capture its first-ever Landmark Conference Championship.

 

Will Miller (College of the Albemarle)- Recently signed outfielder Will Miller finished 3-for-4, scored four runs, and tallied an RBI in a winning effort against Lenoir Community College. Miller is sizzling at the plate, leading the team with a .417 batting average and 22 extra-base hits.

 

Drew Tolson (Baylor)- Recently signed pitcher Drew Tolson picked up a huge victory in the rubber-game of a three game set at Oklahoma. In 6.0 innings, Tolson surrendered five runs and struck out one. He is 3-5 with a 5.15 ERA. The Bears' win was their first series victory at Oklahoma in 14 years.

 

Sean Spicer (Baylor)- Tolson turned the baseball over to 2013 Dutchmen pitcher Sean Spicer in the 10-5 win at Oklahoma. Last year's starting pitcher for the Dutchmen went 2.1 innings in relief of Tolson, and he didn't let up a run while striking out two Sooners. Spicer's ERA currently sits at 5.68 and he's struck out 16 total batters.

 

Nick Chapman (UNC Greensboro)- 2012 Dutchmen outfielder Nick Chapman brought in three runs on a 2-for-4 performance in UNC Greensboro's win versus Samford. He is hitting .265 for the Spartans with 14 RBI in 18 starts this year.
